C-Trade was struggling with building a presence of their blogs online. The benchmark set by C-Trade was to kickstart their organic searches, they wanted at 4 SEO centric blog with an average SERP ranking 10.

They wanted to establish C-Trade as one of the best crypto derivatives exchanges in the crypto landscape. We had to focus on building credibility for their brand which was one of our KPIs.

Get more traction to the website and increase user acquisition by 30%

One of the key KPIs set by C-trade was, they wanted to increase user acquisition by 30% and also bring more traction to their website through their blogs.

Nascent Project with a low DA score of 8

One of the main challenges we faced with C-Trade was it was a nascent project and we had to focus on building on a following from scratch. Since they were a nascent project they had a domain authority of 8.

High ranking Competitors with DA of more than 65

The competitors of C-trade had already established themselves as the leaders in the domain. The main challenge here was to outrank the competitors who had a domain authority of 65.

Average monthly blogs of competitors were 2x-3x more than C-trade

The rate at which the competitors of C-trade were creating and publishing their content was 2x-3x more than what C-trade was doing at the time. This turned out to be a huge challenge for us to tackle.

Research about the most trending topics in the derivatives trading ecosystem

One of the first steps we had to take was to do a very thorough research about some of the most trending topics in the derivatives trading ecosystem and pick the one which would work best for C-Trade.

After doing thorough research on the same, we had to develop a tailor made Content Strategy for the same, which included topic briefs and outline of the article.

The content structure was developed  to illustrate the main outline and all the relevant material that will be included in the article and any more relevant information which is relevant to the topic.

Keyword Research

We had to do thorough research for the keywords to check which were trending the most in the domain. Once we were done with the keyword research, we segregated them as per their relevancy.

Long Tail Blog Titles 

Following google algorithms, we worked on 55 long-tail blog titles for them to choose from and which would best resonate with the target audience.

Optimizing H1, H2 and H3

Optimizing all the headings in the blog was necessary to ensure that on-page SEO is on point and brings good results for the client.

Drafting the Blogs – Pillar and Regular

The next step for us was to start drafting the blogs. We created a content cluster which segregated into two types:

  • Pillar – These blogs were serving as a foundation for all the interlinking and were at least more than 4000 words.
  • Regular – These blogs work as a subsidiary for the primary blogs which are at least 1200-1500 words.

 

Interlinking

An internal linking structure was created and all of the blogs and website pages were interlinked to ensure the optimization of the blog articles.

 

External Linking

To help increase the domain authority of the website, we had to work on external linking and connect with websites with DA of more than 85%.
